Where research meets possibility—and action begins

  • 25-26 May 2026

  • Barcelona Biomedical Research Park: PRBB
  • Flagship Event

Join the leading think-tank on SLD, where we connect healthcare professionals, patient advocates, and industry to exchange best practices in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of MASLD/MASH. Through innovative, actionable strategies, we’re driving transformative efforts to end MASLD/MASH as a public health threat by 2030.

About the Think-tank

The flagship event* of the Global Think-tank on Steatotic Liver Disease consists of three main sessions and an “open space”, with key topics focused on steatotic liver disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, management and public health and policies.

Expert panels will present evidence-based case studies showcasing the latest advances in models of care including non-invasive tests. Leading hepatologists, endocrinologists, primary care physicians, nurses, and nutritionists will contribute to building a community of practice by exploring collaborative and integrated approaches for managing MASLD/MASH.

Discussions will also address key topics such as patient engagement, health literacy, and raising broader awareness within healthcare systems and among the public. Particular attention will be given to the inclusion of MASLD/MASH in clinical guidelines and testing policies, as well as tackling health inequities and disparities where they arise.

*Attendance is limited. All applications for registration are reviewed, and will be notified of invitation status and fee via email within one week.
